%X Article in German, Abstracts in English and GermanIn this study the fragment of Alexander von Humboldt¡¯s Siberian personal diary of 1829 is introduced. The evaluation is focussed on Humboldt¡¯s remarks about mineral resources, especially gold and diamonds. Also mentioned are results which Humboldt recorded about geographical, botanical, meteorological, zoological and ethnological questions.
