%0 Journal Article %T Landscape of Courses of Post Graduated in Pediatric Dentistry in Brazil %A Viviane Andrade Cancio de PAULA %A Maria Elisa Oliveira dos SANTOS %J Pesquisa Brasileira em Odontopediatria e Cl¨ªnica Integrada %D 2006 %I Associa??o de Apoio ¨¤ Pesquisa em Sa¨²de Bucal (APESB) %X Objective: The aim of this research was to analyze the landscape of courses of Post Graduated in Pediatric Dentistry in Brazil and make considerations about some slope involving this topic. Method: The techniques applied to collect the necessary data were a questionary with open questions. These questionary was sent to all coordinator of Post Graduated in Pediatric Dentistry in Brazil, registered in CFO, that have courses in process nowadays. Results: The feedbacks e datas collected was analyzed on Excel, and demonstrated that, considering the answers, 60% of the coordinator was female; 47% has been coordinator for only 5 years, 63% observed changes on student's profile, notable the decrease of ages, that represents 32% these answers. Sixty-nine percent has been observed reduction on demand justified by the high cost and the growth of the number of courses. The class hours were enough for 91%. About the necessity to open news courses, 34% was favorable with restrictions and 31% was against. Most of coordinator (59%) believes that there is no difference between students of public and private universities. And 68% believes that necessary more improvement on teaching area.
