%X Les canyons de Tr¨¦vans sont incis¨¦s dans des unit¨¦s calcaires jurassiques, dans la zone frontale subalpine, proche du pi¨¦mont de Valensole. Ces reliefs sont en rapport avec les phases n¨¦otectoniques. Ce secteur fait principalement partie de la for¨ºt domaniale du Montdenier, avec des ¨¦cosyst¨¨mes montagnards et supra-m¨¦diterran¨¦ens, bois de h¨ºtres et de ch¨ºnes pubescents, large extension des brousses et d'importants reboisements en pins noirs. Les hautes surfaces conservent des traces d'un ancien aplanissement et des sols r¨¦siduels pal¨¦okarstiques. Sur les pentes, sous des escarpements d¨¦membr¨¦s, les ¨¦boulis et convois de blocs t¨¦moignent des processus p¨¦riglaciaires h¨¦rit¨¦s et, localement, des ¨¦v¨¨nements s¨¦ismiques. De nombreux processus dynamiques s'observent dans les canyons : ¨¦boulements provenant des parois affect¨¦es des effets de d¨¦tente, coups de gouge et marmites de g¨¦ant dans leur fond excav¨¦ par les ¨¦coulements turbulents dans les cascades¡­ et le Pont de Tuf. The canyon system of Trevans has cut the blocks of the jurassic limestones, in subalpine over thrust front, near the Valensole piedmont. These landforms are in relationship with the neotectonic movements. This area belongs to the State Forest of Montdenier, woodland of various mountain and supra-mediterranean ecosystems, with beeches and white oaks Quercus pubescens), large extent of bush and important reforestation in black pines (Pinus nigra). The high surfaces preserve some relics of the old planation and paleokarstic forms and residual soils. On the slopes, under the break-up escarpments, the screes and landslides give the part of the periglacial processes and, locally, of the seismic events. Numerous dynamic processes occur in the canyons: rock-slides, in relationship with open fractures, scallops and pot-holes in the bottom excavated by the turbulent flows in the waterfalls of the creeks and, only case, a travertine bridge.
