%X RESUMENEn ¨¦ste art¨ªculo se dan a conocer algunas de las aplicaciones m¨¢s importantes de la ergonom¨ªa en Terapia Ocupacional, puesto que a pesar de tener un gran reconocimiento en el sector trabajo, en donde hay un mayor predominio de estudio por parte de la ergonom¨ªa, a¨²n se desconocen muchas de las actividades que pueden ser realizadas por ¨¦stos profesionales. Terapia Ocupacional abarca el estudio de todas las etapas de la vida del individuo, en cuanto a su desempe o ocupacional se refiere, lo cual garantiza un amplio campo de actuaci¨®n profesional, que permite profundizar e investigar en diversas ¨¢reas, para que desde su experiencia y resultados se facilite el aporte a muchos proyectos de investigaci¨®n que requieren de conceptos que son transversales a diferentes disciplinas y que pueden constituirse en conocimiento nuevo para la sociedad cient¨ªfica. Con la creaci¨®n del Grupo de Salud Ocupacional y Ergonom¨ªa en la Universidad Manuela Beltr¨¢n, se pretende ¡°Desarrollar proyectos de investigaci¨®n en el campo de la ergonom¨ªa, aplicables en los contextos: laboral, escolar, social y familiar; que permitan la adaptaci¨®n de diferentes entornos al ser humano y a su vez mejorar condiciones tendientes al logro de un ¨®ptimo desempe o y productividad¡±[1]. De esta manera, se inician proyectos de investigaci¨®n con estudiantes de Terapia Ocupacional, cuyos avances han permitido escribir el presente articulo, se espera adem¨¢s la vinculaci¨®n de otras ¨¢reas para su fortalecimiento. ABSTRACTIn this article they bring themselves to light some of the most important applications of the ergonomics in occupational therapy, since in spite of having a great recognition in the work sector, where there is a greater predominance of study on the part of the ergonomics, still many of the activities they do not know themselves that can be carried out for these professionals. The occupational therapy covers the study of all the phases of the life of the individual, as for their occupational performance refers, which guarantees an extensive field of professional action, that permits to deepen and to investigate in diverse areas of the science, so that since their experience and results be facilitated the contribute to many projects of investigation that require of concepts that are cross streets to different disciplines and they can be constituted in new knowledge for the scientific company.
