%X One of the most interesting matters of Hegel's aesthetic thought comes from his Lessons on the Aesthetics. This matter affirms and discusses the end of art. To understand the sense and the scope of this idea, we present in this work the way in which Hegel treats the problem of art inside his speculative philosophy and especially in his Lessons on the Aesthetics. Through this process of contextualization we search for the different interpretations that have taken place in our days about the provocative thesis of the end of art and we also suggest the question of the place that occupies, or that can occupy, the art after the mentioned end of art. Uno de los puntos de mayor inter¨¦s del pensamiento est¨¦tico de Hegel procede de sus Lecciones de est¨¦tica, y es aquel que afirma y tematiza el fin del arte. Para entender el sentido y el alcance de esta idea, presentamos en este trabajo el modo como Hegel trata el problema del arte dentro de su filosof¨ªa especulativa y en especial en sus Lecciones de Est¨¦tica. Por medio de este proceso de contextualizaci¨®n rastreamos finalmente las distintas interpretaciones que se han producido en nuestros d¨ªas acerca de la provocativa tesis del fin del arte y dejamos planteada tambi¨¦n la cuesti¨®n del lugar que ocupa o puede ocupar el arte despu¨¦s del mencionado fin del arte.
