%X [es] Las ciudades pueden considerarse como una de las construcciones humanas m芍s complejas y como tal son objeto de numerosas controversias simb車licas en las cuales intervienen diversos actores sociales, imaginarios urbanos, pr芍cticas sociales y transformaciones materiales. Con el objetivo de analizar c車mo se intersectan las disputas epistemol車gicas con las distintas l車gicas que conviven en la construcci車n de las ciudades, proponemos centrarnos en las disputas de sentidos sobre la ciudad. Para ello se confrontan los postulados modernos de la simplicidad 每 asociados a las corrientes funcionalistas y racionalistas del ∩30 y el ∩70 每 con los emergentes de la complejidad 每presentes en las ciencias sociales desde los a os ∩80每 y, a su vez, se analiza c車mo act迆an en la conformaci車n de la ciudad y en los diversos significados que la constituyen.Se toma el caso de la ciudad de Rosario que en 2010 fue escenario de numerosos debates que permitieron identificar actores sociales y proyectos urbanos a partir de los cuales fue posible conocer las significaciones que van construyendo la ciudad. Luego del an芍lisis cualitativo de documentos, observaci車n participante y entrevistas se finaliza este trabajo con un mapeo de imaginarios organizados en dos grandes categor赤as conceptuales: ciudad concebida y ciudad construida. [en] The cities can be considered to be one of the most complex human constructions and as such they are an object of numerous symbolic controversies involving various social actors, urban imaginaries, social practices and material transformations.With the aim to analyze how epistemological disputes intersect with the different logics that coexist in the construction of the cities, we propose to centre on the disputes of senses on the city. For it the modern postulates of the simplicity - associated with functionalist and rationalist currents of the ＆ 30 and ＆ 70每 are confronted by the emergent ones of the complexity 每 present in the social sciences since the 80- and, in turn, there are analyzed how they act in the conformation of the city and in the diverse meanings that constitute it.There takes the case of Rosario＊s city that in 2010 was the scene of many discussions that allowed identifying social actors and urban projects from which it was possible to know the meanings that are constructing the city. After the qualitative analysis of documents, participant observation and interviews this work concludes with a mapping of imaginaries organized in two big conceptual categories: city designed and constructed city.
