%X The investigation shows results on levels of job satisfaction in a sample of workers belonging to a top-level educational institution of the State of Mexico. The research was descriptive, cor-relational, explanatory transverse non-experimental design and performed with the universe population belonging to three categories: management and staffing, administrative and lectur-ers. In order to measure job satisfaction it was used Job Satisfaction Index (LSI*66) developed by [1]. The results showed that three of five factors predict job satisfaction and can increase levels of job satisfaction of the institution. La presente investigaci車n muestra resultados sobre los niveles de satisfacci車n laboral en una muestra de trabajadores pertenecientes a una instituci車n educativa de Nivel Superior del Estado de M谷xico. La investigaci車n fue descriptiva, correlacional, explicativa, transver-sal; con un dise o no experimental; realizada con el universo de la poblaci車n perteneciente a tres categor赤as: directivos y personal de confianza, administrativos y profesores de asigna-tura. Para medir la satisfacci車n laboral se utiliz車 el 赤ndice de Satisfacci車n Laboral (ISL*66) desarrollado por [1]. Los resultados mostraron que tres de cinco factores predicen la satis-facci車n laboral y pueden incrementar los niveles de satisfacci車n laboral de la instituci車n.
