%X In the context of contemporary societies we are dealing with an intense emergence and proliferation of social mobilizations of every kind, which are a consequence of the great dissemination of the neoliberal program. Many of them are social movements, but others are not. The concept of social movement has been expanded and therefore a specific and careful analysis is needed before its application. Our aim is to evaluate the possibilities of application of Charles Tilly¡¯s social movement concept to the 12th March mobilization. This task will be based on the field work of an on-going research
