It aims to identify master¡¯s theses and doctoral dissertations produced during the last decade (from 2001 to 2010) which include ¡°teaching of literature¡± as one of their keywords. Data collection was done at Banco de Teses e Disserta es da Coordena o de Aperfei oamento de Pessoal de N¨ªvel Superior, accessed through a public domain portal. It seeks to identify which themes and approaches are in use, as well as in which institutions and graduate programs these researches have been taking place more or less regularly. We may conclude that there is a momentum for change in teaching based on reception-oriented theories; some limitations still persist when using Internet as a research tool due to the institutions¡¯ apparent slowness to upload their data into databanks; the way authors identify their researches does not take into account the digital library; finally, abstracts are not sufficiently precise about the text¡¯s contents. %K Teaching Literature %K Banco de Teses da Capes %K Graduate Programs in Education and Literature %U http://periodicos.ufpb.br/ojs2/index.php/dclv/article/view/10715/7067
