%X The digital revolution poses several questions to scholars of architectural representation. It is now difficult to speak of Geometry, because we have to distinguish between various geometries , and we can expand the potential construction of topology  and form finding of parametric relationships. It also raises the question about the current function of Drawing: from the undisputed foundation of the arts, in fact, drawing can now be replaced by images obtained by a process that often begins with the construction of a 3D model, then coated with materials and inserted in an existing or imagined setting that provides light sources. This process has strong similarities with the traditional artistic practices denouncing a foundation in their roots in contrast to its revolutionary potential. La rivoluzione digitale pone molti quesiti agli studiosi della rappresentazione architettonica. Risulta oggi problematico parlare di Geometria, perch¨¦ si distinguono diverse geometrie e si ampliano le potenzialit¨¤ conformative attraverso le applicazioni della topologia e il form finding delle relazioni parametriche. Si pone anche il problema circa l'attuale funzione del Disegno: da indiscusso fondamento delle arti, infatti, oggi il disegno pu¨° essere sostituito da immagini spesso ottenute con un processo che comincia con la costruzione di un modello 3D, poi rivestito di materiali e inserito in un'ambientazione esistente o immaginaria che prevede l'introduzione di sorgenti luminose. Tale processo presenta forti analogie con le pratiche artistiche tradizionali, denunciando un fondamento nelle loro radici in contrasto con la sua carica rivoluzionaria.
