Viscosity is an important thermo physical property of the refrigeration which affects its performance. Our investigation is done on viscosity of Al2O3¨CR11 nanorefrigerant at different nanoparticle concentrations and temperature. Al2O3 (20nm) nanoparticles are mixed with the refrigerant R-11 at varying concentration (0.01- 0.05 vol %) using ultrasonic vibration. The objective of this study is to investigate the dependence of viscosity of Al2O3¨CR11 nanorefrigerant on temperature (4-160C) at different volume concentrations. Based on the experimental analysis it is found that viscosity augmented significantly with the increase of volume concentrations. Therefore, low volume concentration (upto0.03%) of nano-refrigerant can improve the performance of a refrigeration system in the temperature range from 4-160C. %K Viscosity %K Nanorefrigerant %K Nanoparticles %K Volume concentration. %U http://irdindia.in/Journal_IJTARME/PDF/Vol2_Iss3/25.pdf
