Material and Methods: 61 patients operated with LH technique between July 2010 and January 2012 was analyzed retrospectively. Results: 61 patients were examined (58 male, 3 female, median ages: 49.9, age range: 16-81). Median length of hospital stay was 1.3 days. 72% of patients had indirect inguinal hernia, and 56% was right sided. Spinal anesthesia was applied in 60% of patients. In follow-up, one patient suffered from chronic pain, and one patient had recurrent hernia. Conclusion: LH operation for inguinal hernia seems to be a safe, efficient and simple technique with low complication rates. %K Inguinal hernia %K Lichteinstein %K retrospective study %U http://www.bakirkoytip.org/pdf/286201215135.pdf
