%X Ama : Bu  al  man n amac ; sa l k y¨¹ksekokulu   rencilerinin evlilik  ncesi cinsel ili ki, istemli d¨¹ ¨¹kler ve kontraseptif y ntem kullan m  konusunda g r¨¹ lerini belirlemek ve toplumsal de er yarg lar n  mesleki ya ant lar na yans tmamalar  konusunda fark ndal k yaratmakt r. Y ntem: Kesitsel olarak planlanan ara t rmaya, May s-2008¡¯de Trakya ve Nam k Kemal ¨¹niversitesi sa l k y¨¹ksek okullar nda   renim g ren toplam 338 ebelik ve hem irelik   rencisinin kat lm  t r. Veriler ara t rmac lar taraf ndan haz rlanan 25 maddelik bir soru formu ile toplanm  t r. Bulgular: Ara t rmaya kat lanlar n ya  ortalamas  20.9¡À1.6¡¯d r ve %97¡¯si kad nd r.   rencilerin %66.9¡¯u ¡°evlenmeden  nce cinsel ili kiye girmek yanl  t r¡±; %63.6¡¯s  ¡°evlilik d    ili kiler bizim ahlaki ve k¨¹lt¨¹rel de erlerimizi tahrip ediyor¡±; %52.1¡¯i ¡°istemli d¨¹ ¨¹k ahlaksal olarak yanl  t r¡±; yaln zca %2.1¡¯i ise ¡°kontraseptif y ntemler ile ilgili bilgi yaln zca evli  iftlere verilmelidir¡±  nermesine kat ld klar n  belirtmi lerdir. Sonu : Gelece in sa l k  al  anlar  evlilik d    cinsel ili ki, istemli d¨¹ ¨¹kler ve kontraseptif kullan m  ile ilgili konularda toplumsal de er yarg lar  ve mesleki yakla  mlar  aras nda ikilem ya amaktad rlar. Evlilik d    cinsel ili ki ve istemli d¨¹ ¨¹kler ahlaksal olarak yanl   bulunurken; planlanmam   bir gebelik durumunda istemli d¨¹ ¨¹ ¨¹n kabul edilebilece ini ve evli olmayan gen  kad nlar n istemli d¨¹ ¨¹k hizmetlerinin, k¨¹rtaj n fiziksel ve psikolojik sonu lar n  da kapsayacak  ekilde verilmesi bu ikilemi a  k a g stermektedir. Sa l k alan nda toplumsal de er yarg lar n n mesleki ba  ms zl    ve t bbi etik yakla  mlar  etkilemesi olas l   n  en aza indirmek amac yla m¨¹fredat g zden ge irilmelidir. Anahtar Kelimeler: ¨¹reme sa l    hizmetleri, evlilik  ncesi cinsel ili ki, ergenler, mesleki tutum, k¨¹lt¨¹rel de erler, ebelik ve hem irelik e itimi Opinions of health college students on premarital sex, induced abortions and contraceptive use of young people Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the health college students¡¯ opinions towards premarital sexual intercourse, induced abortion, and contraceptive use and to raise awareness about not to pass social and cultural values through to their professional life.Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted in Edirne and Tekirda  health colleges with participation of 338 nursing and midwifery students, in May-2008. A 25 item questionnaire form prepared by researchers was used for collecting data. Results: The mean age of the participants is 20.9¡À1.6 and 97% of them are women.
