%X Tomando en consideraci車n el rol de la legislaci車n y la administraci車n en la actualidad, el presente trabajo explica por qu谷 y para qu谷 es necesario redefinir la reserva de ley. Esa redefinici車n pasa por operativizar la colaboraci車n ley-reglamento, encauzando as赤 su articulaci車n a trav谷s de determinados medios, lo cual no es incompatible con la normativa constitucional; sin embargo, ello requiere modificar la manera en que el tribunal constitucional se aproxima a los casos de reserva legal. Considering the current role of both legislation and administrative rulemaking, this paper argues why and for what purposes it is necessary to redefine the understanding of legal reserve clause. Such redefinition regards making operative the legislation-administrative rulemaking relationship, by channeling it through certain means. It is not incompatible with the Chilean Constitution, though it requires that the constitutional court changes its approach to legal reserve cases.
