%X As introduction, in this text, the different articles which compose the dossier are presented framing them within the theoretical field of the anthropology of the body. Given that the social presentation of the body is the field of study which is the linchpin of the dossier, some conceptual issues related to this area are outlined in the introduction as well. En este texto que sirve de introducci車n al dossier se presentan los diferentes art赤culos que lo componen enmarc芍ndolos dentro del 芍mbito te車rico de la antropolog赤a del cuerpo. En la introducci車n se delinean adem芍s algunos aspectos conceptuales, relativos a la presentaci車n social del cuerpo, campo de estudio que constituye el eje central del dossier.
