The survey was conducted through a cross-section for convenience, the study involved 100 adolescents (60 girls and 40 boys) aged 15 to 19 years. Were gathered demographic information (name, age and sex), socioeconomic (socioeconomic status and education of household head), and (COMPAC Adolescent Behavior Questionnaire Santa Catarina). The results revealed that boys were consistently more physically active than girls. Around 62.5% of boys involved in the study were classified as active, while approximately 53.3% of girls studied were shown to be inactive. The high incidence of physical inactivity observed in the sample suggests that interventionist actions will encourage the proper practice of physical activity among young people. %K Physical Inactivity %K Sedentary Behavior %K Adolescents. %U http://revista.ulbrajp.edu.br/ojs/index.php/edufisica/article/viewFile/745/174
