%0 Journal Article %T A THEORETICAL REFLECTION ON THE CONTINUING EDUCATION FORTEACHERS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION %A M¨¢rcio Rog¨¦rio Pacheco %J Ulbra e Movimento : Revista de Educa£¿£¿o F¨ªsica %D 2010 %I %X The paper presents one of the issues worked in a research thataimed at studying and understanding the continuing formation of Physical Education teachers working with Elementary Education of the Municipal Schools in Vit¨®ria, state of Esp¨ªrito Santo, Brazil, considering as main point the social imaginary of such teachers. Methodologically assuming a qualitative posture, it was made a documental analysis of the Municipal Plan of Education of Vit¨®ria2001/2010, as well as interviews with six Physical Education teachers working in that teaching unit. As result, it shows that a great number of teachers understand that continuing formation has not been worked as a govern politics, but a mandate one.
