To evaluate the effect caused bythe intervention adolescents were assessed at baseline, during and after the intervention, the Test of Motor Coordination based on proposed criteria for the diagnosis of DAMP(Deficits in Attention, Motor control and Perception). The evolution of the teens inDAMP was made from analysis of variance, which identified the relation of cause and effect between variables, since we obtained an F = 31.8273, which may be considered significant because the P value was by 0.01. Thus we can conclude that adolescents with DS have evolved as to the field of their bodies, developing and improving their chances of moving, finding new spaces and new ways of overcoming their limitations. %K Perceptual-Motor Development %K Down syndrome %K Dance Education %U http://revista.ulbrajp.edu.br/ojs/index.php/edufisica/article/viewFile/566/136
