However, a large number of individuals who grow up in contexts of violence do not exhibit symptoms of mental disorder. Evidence presented in the article suggests that individual¡¯s experiences of violence do not go unnoticed, and on the contrary, have an impact on their social development and more specifically on their moral reasoning.
