%X O artigo analisa a expans o do ensino superior no Brasil e, o processo de interioriza  o do 3o grau no Paran¨¢, que viabilizou a cria  o da Faculdade Estadual de Filosofia, Ci¨ºncias e Letras de Ponta Grossa ao final da d¨¦cada de 40, no sul e demais faculdades ao norte na d¨¦cada de 50 nas cidades de Londrina e Maring¨¢ complementando-se ao in¨ªcio dos anos 70 com a cria  o das Universidades Paranaenses instaladas em Ponta Grossa, Londrina e Maring¨¢. The present article analyses the expansion of the College Education in Brazil, that education politics enabled at the State of Paran¨¢ to develop focused on the creation of the Colleges in the hinterland at the end of the 1940s, when the Philosophy, Sciences and Letters College of the State of Paran¨¢, in Ponta Grossa, was created, process which was completed in the beginning of the 70s with the installation of the State University in Ponta Grossa and also other Universities in Londrina and Maring¨¢, installed on the Northern part of the state.
