%X Resumen.- En diferentes tratados y estudios se han analizado escenas y momentos l¨²dicos que han quedado inmortalizados en distintos soportes como la fotograf¨ªa, pintura, c¨®mic, escultura, literatura, publicidad, filatelia, cer¨¢mica, cine, etc. Sin embargo, hasta el momento no se ha prestado atenci¨®n a los juegos populares que aparecen plasmados en los d¨¦cimos de la loter¨ªa.En este contexto, este art¨ªculo resume un estudio introductorio a las representaciones de las actividades l¨²dicas en un soporte que normalmente pasa desapercibido para el investigador, los d¨¦cimos de loter¨ªa.A este respecto, se concluye, entre otras cosas, que las ilustraciones de la loter¨ªa constituyen una valiosa fuente de conocimiento que puede contribuir a mejorar la comprensi¨®n de los significados sociales de dichas apasionantes pr¨¢cticas. Abstract.- Scenes and playful moments appeared in various media and formats (photography, painting, comics, sculpture, books, advertising, stamps, pottery, movies, etc.) have constituted the aim of different studies and treaties. However, so far no attention has been paid to images of popular games that illustrate the tickets ('tenths') of the Spanish national lottery.In this context, this paper summarizes an introductory study of representations of the recreational activities in the 'tenths' of the Spanish national lottery, a medium usually unnoticed for the researchers.In this respect, one of the conclusions we reach is that lottery illustrations constitute a valuable source of knowledge that can contribute to enhance the understanding of the social meanings of such exciting practices.
