%X El priapismo se define como una entidad en la cual se presenta una erecci車n peneana sostenida relacionada o no con el est赤mulo sexual. Puede llegar a representar una verdadera emergencia urol車gica por cuanto su variante de Bajo Flujo se relaciona de manera fuerte con disfunci車n sexual permanente. Su enfoque de tratamiento se basaprincipalmente en la separaci車n del cuadro entre las variantes isqu谷mica y no isqu谷mica. El tratamiento de la primera puede incluir aspiraci車n cavernosa, instilaci車n de medicamentos vasocontrictores y terap谷utica quir迆rgica. ______________________________________________________________________Priapism is defined as a clinical entity in which there's a sustained penile erection, related or not to sexual stimulation. It may represent a true urologic emergency, taking into account that the low flow variant has been strongly related to permanent sexual dysfunction. Treatment will depend on whether the disease is of ischemic or non ischemic variant, with the terapheutics of the first includind cabernosal aspiration, intracavernosal injection withconstrictive agents, and surgical management.
