%0 Journal Article %T THE LABYRINTH CONTRADICTS THE LINEAR %A Claudio Alexandre de Barros Teixeira %J Psican¨¢lise e Barroco em Revista %D 2009 %I Federal University Juiz of Fora (UFJF) %X Labyrinth as opposed to the linear aims to investigate the relationship between the visual texts of Portuguese Baroque poetry and modernist works such as Mallarm¨¦¡äs Le Livre, James Joyce¡äs Finnegans Wake, and Ana Hatherly¡äs O escritor, starting from the concept of labyrinth as a structure or network that offers different ways of reading or of interpretation , an idea close to the concept of work in progress, formulated by Haroldo de Campos and Umberto Eco.
