%X O compositor tem a capacidade de ler o invis¨ªvel, como se escutasse a linguagem coletiva que vaga em nosso inconsciente, comprovando a veracidade de suas intui  es por meio da recep  o do povo, daqueles milhares que cantam a poesia de suas m¨²sicas. Mergulhar nesse mundo do imagin¨¢rio da M¨²sica Popular Brasileira (MPB) ¨¦ conhecer os medos, as aspira  es, enfim, ¨¦ trazer ¨¤ tona os desejos mais ¨ªntimos e mais velados do nosso povo. Procurou-se, por meio do rico material que ¨¦ a nossa MPB, compreender a velhice, verificando como ela ¨¦ percebida pela sociedade. Na leitura interpretativa dos poemas, tomou-se como refer¨ºncia as teorias do imagin¨¢rio, de Gilbert Durand, a intui  o do instante, de Gaston Bachelard e a teoria da complexidade, de Edgar Morin. The composer has the ability of reading the invisible, as if he is listening to the vague language of our collective unconscious. He can prove the truth of his insights by the reception of the people, thousands of those who sing the poetry of his songs. Diving in the imaginary world of Brazilian Popular Music (BPM) is to know people¡¯s fears and aspirations. It is also to bring out the deepest and the most hidden desires of them. It was made an attempted through the rich material that is our ¡®MPB¡¯ to understand old age, seeing how it is perceived by the society. The interpretative reading of the poems was done by using as reference the theory of the imagination of Gilbert Durand, the idea of the intuition of the moment from Gaston Bachelard and the theory of complexity from Edgar Morin.
