%X The general assessment of fishing effort for beach seines are given, absolute and relative indicators of fishing effort are considered. The mathematical models of the fishing effort for river, lake, sea beach seines and peculiar properties of their practical definition are presented. Particular attention is paid to the economic indicators of fishing effort and an example of their calculations is given.
