%X Tourist activities give rise to a body of legends and myths that circulate among travellers, through different media and at a general level in their home cultures and societies. The analysis of these legends and myths can be understood as social imaginaries and cognitive mechanisms, by which the tourist way of life is constructed, even if the travel takes place in a non ordinary moment.
