Given the variety of situations in which narrative discourse emerges, such an analysis is based upon the premise that the broadening of the definition of what is a narrative occasions fundamental theoretical innovations. Such an approach is indispensable to the understanding of interactional formats that are renewed on par with new interactional spaces. We analyze small stories of discrimination against Brazilian immigrants, collected in an opinion site, as we emphasize how notions of group identity are linguistically constructed through individual and global references. %K Narrative discourse %K small stories %K identity %K group representation %K discrimination. %U http://portalrevistas.ucb.br/index.php/RL/article/view/1898/1309
