%X Partindo do debate sobre os limites da linguagem diante da trag¨¦dia do exterm¨ªnio nazista, pudemos constatar que a falta de respostas aos interrogativos sobre a Shoah ¨¦ preenchida pelas tentativas da literatura de representar o evento gerando um discurso que inclua as lacunas, as impossibilidades, os paradoxos. As testemunhas deparam-se com dificuldades e aporias (entre as quais "o paradoxo de Levi" proposto por Agamben), vivenciam a "s¨ªndrome" do Velho Marinheiro, mas n o s o ouvidos ou atravessam as diversas d¨¦cadas e fases hist¨®ricas em sil¨ºncio at¨¦ come ar a contar sua experi¨ºncia. Escritores como Primo Levi, Robert Antelme, Elie Wiesel, Jorge Sempr¨²n, Imre Kert¨¦sz procuram o caminho da literatura onde o recurso da fabula  o tenta superar as falhas da linguagem. Partendo dal dibattito sui limiti del linguaggio di fronte alla tragedia dello sterminio nazista, constatiamo che la mancanza di risposte agli interrogativi sulla Shoah ¨¨ colmata dai tentativi della letteratura di rappresentare l¡äevento dando vita a un discorso che includa le lacune, le impossibilita, i paradossi. I testimoni si imbattono in difficolt¨¤ e aporie (tra cui "il paradosso di Levi" proposto da Agamben), sperimentano la "s¨ªndrome" del Vecchio Marinaio, ma non vengono ascoltati o attraversano vari decenni e fasi storiche in silenzio prima di iniziare a raccontare il proprio vissuto. Scrittori come Primo Levi, Robert Antelme, Elie Wiesel, Jorge Sempr¨²n, Imre Kert¨¦sz tentano la via della letteratura in cui fare ricorso all¡äartificio narrativo pu¨° portare al superamento dei limiti del linguaggio. This study takes the move from the debate over the inability of language to express the tragedy of the Nazi extermination. We observe that the lack of answers to the questions raised by the Shoah is compensated by literary attempts to represent the events including omissions, impossibilities and paradoxes. Witnesses face difficulties and paradoxes (including Levi's paradox as Agamben formulates it). They embody the Old Mariner's syndrome, but are not heard or they go through several decades in silence until they begin to tell their stories. Some writers as Primo Levi, Robert Antelme, Elie Wiesel, Jorge Sempr¨²n and Imre Kert¨¦sz, seek a literary path and attempt to overcome the limits of language through narrative expedients.
