The research surveyed 154 employees (65.58% women) from different Romanian organizations. The study was exploratory in its nature and revealed that workaholism, together with job requirements are good predictors of emotional exhaustion. Managerial support has a moderating effect on the relationship between workaholism and emotional exhaustion. In case of depersonalization, interaction hypothesis was insignificant.
