%X Cet article d¨¦fend l'id¨¦e que la s¨¦rialit¨¦, trop souvent ¨¦tudi¨¦e d'un seul point de vue, repose en r¨¦alit¨¦ sur une double r¨¦p¨¦tition. On peut distinguer en effet la matrice d'une s¨¦rie de sa structure et envisager un autre mod¨¨le de la r¨¦p¨¦tition, plus heuristique. On se propose alors de distinguer ces deux dimensions pour mieux penser leur fonctionnement (les r¨¨gles de lecture) et leur articulation productive (la production d'objets ¨¤ la fois r¨¦p¨¦titifs et singuliers), de Columbo aux Soprano, en passant par Le Cam¨¦l¨¦on. This paper argues that serialization, too often considered through a single point of view, is actually based on a double repetition. One can distinguish the matrix of a series from its structure and consider an alternative model of repetition, more heuristic. It then proposes to distinguish these two dimensions in order to get a better understanding of the functioning (the rules of reading) and the productive articulation of series (production of items both repetitive and unique), especially through the analysis of Columbo, The Sopranos and The Pretender.
