%X The article reflects on the social responsibility of the organizations, especially in public university institutions understood as socially responsible. Considering the social responsibility of universities as a key player in the processes of social change, we share the experience of the Department of Students¡¯ Welfare of the Faculty of Economics, University of Buenos Aires (EGF) and its leading role as a development factor within the community.
