%X The interstate nature of Public International Law has traditionally constrained the access and participation of individuals before international courts. Yet, certain procedural avenues, such as the amicus curiae, have been set up so as to flatten the individual¡¯s intervention in several areas of International Law. This paper studies the evolution of the amicus curiae, an institution which has facilitated the intervention of the individual before certain international courts.
