Sikora %J Information Technologies and Learning Tools %D 2011 %I Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools %X In the article the peculiarities of the usage of information and communication technologies in the system of applied mathematical preparation of future informatics specialists are considered, which allow to make an educational process effective and individualized. The topicality of research is conditioned on social-economic processes which take place in modern society under the influence of informatization and require of the educational system the innovative approach in preparation of future specialists. The notion of professional mathematical package from standpoint of pedagogics and informatics is disclosed. The expedience of the Mathcad package usage is substantiated while solving the applied mathematical problems, the example of program realization is resulted.
