%X San Dionisio Parish church is one of the main pieces of heritage in the city of Jerez de la Frontera (C芍diz, Spain). In the beginning of the 21st century, some columns of the church showed symptoms of damage by compressive stresses. Due to this fact, the temple was closed to the public. In 2005 a complete research began in order to find the causes of the damage. As a result, a restoration plan was proposed. The applied method for repairing the structure was grout injection with the sleeve port pipe. It has the advantage of the higher pressures that can be applied when compared with other previously documented injection techniques. In this way, a better homogenization and improvement of the masonry mechanical properties are achieved. This paper describes the research carried out to identify the causes of the damage, the repair of the structure and its effectiveness. La Iglesia de San Dionisio es una de las m芍s importantes desde el punto de vista hist車rico y patrimonial de Jerez de la Frontera (C芍diz). Al inicio del siglo XXI, varios pilares de la estructura comenzaron a presentar s赤ntomas de agotamiento a compresi車n, hecho que condujo al cierre del templo. En 2005 se inici車 la investigaci車n para identificar las causas del deterioro estructural y establecer una estrategia de reparaci車n adecuada. El m谷todo aplicado para la reparaci車n de la estructura fue la inyecci車n con tubo-manguito. Frente a otros m谷todos de inyecci車n previamente documentados en f芍brica, la inyecci車n con tubo-manguito permite aplicar presiones de inyecci車n significativamente superiores, consiguiendo as赤 una mayor homogeneizaci車n y mejora de las propiedades resistentes del material inyectado. Este art赤culo aborda la investigaci車n llevada a cabo para caracterizar el origen de los da os, la descripci車n del procedimiento de reparaci車n de la estructura y la evaluaci車n de su efectividad.
