%X The radiolysis with gamma radiation of arginine, in solid polycrystalline state, was performed at room temperature. The EPR spectra, recorded after radiolysis allowed the identification of three paramagnetic centers. A possible mechanism of formation of the three radical species is suggested, based on literature data. It was established a third order kinetics for the thermal annealing process.
