%X Resumo O presente trabalho objetiva apresentar as caracter¨ªsticas e conceitos da Escola Nova ou Escola Ativa a partir do pensamento de alguns intelectuais da educa  o:Froebel, Freinet e Dewey. Contribui para o entendimento de como a experi¨ºncia e outros preceitos escolanovista foram abordados e apropriados dentro do pensamento educacional destes tr¨ºs intelectuais da educa  o. O texto apresenta considera  es referentes ¨¤ educa  o e ¨¤ Escola Nova, com o intuito de expor o ide¨¢rio a cerca do contexto escolar segundo a vis o destes intelectuais identificados em obras quecaracterizam estes aspectos. Como um dos resultados Froebel, Freinet e Dewey conjugam no respeito ¨¤ individualidade da crian a dentro de uma vis o naturalista vislumbrando a explora  o e experimenta  o como fatores integrantes do processo educativo. Abstract This study presents the characteristics and concepts of the Active New School and an active school of thought from some intellectual education: Froebel, Dewey and Freinet. Contributes to the understanding of how the experience and other escolanovistaprecepts were addressed and appropriate within the educational thought of these three intellectual educations. The paper presents considerations for education and active school in order to expose ideas about the school context in the view of these intellectuals based on aspects that characterize these works. The text begins withFroebel, based on the reference treatment unit called Vital. Then Freinet presents, seeing their thoughts about the French Popular School, heading to Dewey in his thought and association between school and life.
