It is argued that public administration has undergone a series of modifications due to changes in political, economic and social contexts and that training of civil servants is a key factor for improving the performance of the state. Methodologically, we adopted a quantitative approach with a closed questionnaire for students that had graduated from the program. Data collection was made with an online survey during two months that resulted in 197 questionnaires with a sampling error of less than 5% and 95% confidence. We created three groups of heterogeneous individuals using the variables of technological readiness, which enabled us to verify that the determinants of satisfaction are different for each one of these groups. It was found conclusively that the technological readiness of individuals is a variable that can serve as moderator for the analysis of satisfaction levels of students that learned at a distance. El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar los factores determinantes de la satisfacci車n de los alumnos de un programa de capacitaci車n de servidores de un gobierno estadual, bas芍ndose en la escala de prontitud tecnol車gica TRI desarrollada por Parasuraman (2000). Se argumenta que la administraci車n p迆blica est芍 pasando por una serie de reformas decurrentes de mudanzas en los planos pol赤tico, econ車mico y social, y que la capacitaci車n de los servidores p迆blicos es un factor determinante para la mejor赤a de la performance del Estado. Metodol車gicamente, se adopt車 una postura cuantitativa, aplic芍ndose un cuestionario cerrado a alumnos que conclu赤an el programa. La aplicaci車n del instrumento de colecta de datos ocurri車 mediante un survey on-line a lo largo de dos meses y result車 en 197 cuestionarios aplicados, que permitieron un error de muestreo inferior a 5% para 95% de confianza. Fueron creados, tres grupos heterog谷neos de individuos mediante las variables de prontitud tecnol車gica, lo que permiti車 verificar que los factores determinantes de satisfacci車n son diferentes para cada uno de esos grupos. En conclusi車n, se verific車 que la prontitud tecnol車gica de los individuos es una variable que puede servir de moderadora para el an芍lisis de los niveles de satisfacci車n de alumnos en la modalidad a distancia.
