Until nowadays the experimental study to measure the parameters of film between two seal surfaces is very difficult. To explain these phenomena from this interface is necessary to know the theoretical pressures. The paper uses a primary seal model where the seal surfaces are considered with misalignment but the ring centre distance is constant.
