%X Bernardo H. Brunton, engineer and prolific inventor from England came to Cieza to mount and direct the first factory of electricity production. Made its first test on March 2, 1896 and in just over a decade illuminated most city streets of Cieza.In 1905 Bernardo H. Brunton is definitely settled in Cieza, perhaps attracted by industrial activity enjoyed by the town in the early twentieth century and a promising future.Patents of Brunton are analyzed here, which represented innovations in security industry esparto.
