%X This paper examines, from the standpoint of anthropology, the continuous phenomena of vandalism against the Little Mermaid of Copenhagen during the last forty years. Particular reference is made to more recent acts of vandalism which aimed to highlight the issue of the ˇ°Islamization of Europeˇ± according to certain people.
