%X It is known that investment ofcapital requires safety and before making adecision any potential investor wishes to have aclear idea about safety of his investment; it is oneof essential and determining facts for investment.Foreign direct investments take a very importantposition in the development strategy of SoutheastEurope countries, and also in the developmentstrategy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After adecade of conflicts, stagnation and collapse ofeconomy, these countries need economic increasewhich will make possible to catch up with the mostprogressive transition countries, as well as aquicker economic integration into contemporaryglobal flows. Central and East European countriespresent direct competitors for Bosnia andHerzegovina in attracting the foreign capital, andthus the knowledge and keeping up with theirprevious experience are very important forestablishing the right investment frame withindomestic conditions. All-inclusive knowledge ofaccession and membership of the transitioncountries in contemporary system of the globalsecurity, first of all in N§¡§´§° PartnershipPrograms and full membership in thisorganization, provides better understanding ofinfluence that process has to influx of foreigndirect investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
