%X This study aims to identify the best manufacturing plants by the criterion of efficiency in the useof chemicals to separate oil, water and gas in a primary processing plant oil. Thus, we evaluated theefficiency of thirty stationary production units operated by a concessionaire of oil in the Campos Basin, in2009. The efficiency was measured with the methodology of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) through itsclassical model DEA-CCR, with the help of software called SIAD. The results were identified by analysisunits which are references for use efficiency desemulsificantes for the treatment of crude oil.
