It aimed at analysing the Distance Education, direct or indirectly, in its different aspects: theorical, social, historical and political. With this study it is verified how the Distance Education became strong and continues to get stronger, by means of its own historicity and development, to the used and developed technologies, to the legislative contributions promulgated from the decade of 1990 in Brazil, as well as some propositions, in the sense of, contributing for the discussion in the policies of implementing the courses of this modality. %K Distance Education %K Technology %K Legislation. %U http://www.gestaoesaude.unb.br/index.php/gestaoesaude/article/view/356/pdf
