%X Este trabajo se relaciona con una investigaci¨®n que se inicia en 1996, derivada de una colaboraci¨®n entre el Ministerio de Salud P¨²blica (MINSAP) y la Facultad de Ingenier¨ªa Industrial del Instituto Superior Polit¨¦cnico "Jos¨¦ Antonio Echeverr¨ªa" (ISPJAE). En este art¨ªculo se le da continuaci¨®n a uno que fue publicado en el 2010; sobre la existencia de hospitales cl¨ªnico-quir¨²rgicos en el pa¨ªs y La Habana, seg¨²n datos del MINSAP. Estos centros tienen como misi¨®n brindar atenci¨®n m¨¦dica especializada preventivo-curativa y de rehabilitaci¨®n de forma ininterrumpida a la poblaci¨®n. El objetivo del estudio es recopilar en s¨ªntesis los datos de las figuras cubanas que sirven de referencia para sus nombres. Los materiales y m¨¦todos son: el an¨¢lisis documental, la b¨²squeda bibliogr¨¢fica, la recopilaci¨®n de informaci¨®n, la s¨ªntesis y otros. El MINSAP reconoce el aporte de las personalidades cubanas y el mundo al desarrollo de la Medicina en Cuba con un merecimiento harto evidenciado. Se recomienda continuar la argumentaci¨®n de los nombres de los hospitales cubanos recogidos en un sitio web ¨²nico, del cual esta s¨ªntesis es un aporte que debe contribuir al desarrollo de lo que existe al respecto. This history is related to a research began in 1996, derived from a colaboration between the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering from the Politecnical Superior Institute "Jos¨¦ Antonio Echeverr¨ªa" (ISPJAE). In this paper we follow the one published in 2010, with the same title, taking reference from the existance of Clinical Surgical Hospitals in our Country and in Havana according to (MINSAP) datas. Their mission is giving specialized medical and surgical preventive, curative and also rehabilitative cares to all people all over the country without interruption. The main objective in this paper is to compile in a small synthesis specific historical data of Cuban personalities who give names to clinical-surgical Hospitals in Havana City. For this we applied: the documental analysis, bibliographical research, synthesis, other methods and different kinds of materials. The Ministry of Cuban Public Health recognizes how those important Cuban personalities and from other countries in the World had contributed to the development of medicine in Cuba. We suggested continuing this study and in a larger way, giving more arguments about the importance of those personalities named in this study, in a Web page in order to contribute more to this small synthesis.
