%X This article seeks an understanding of the historic-gegraphical Guaragi (Ponta Grossa ¨C PR) through the analysis of the dialectic between culture and territory. The culture is one way of interpreting the organization of the territory from the symbols, beliefs, experiences, identities and representation created that has the same. The dialectic contributes to the understanding of phenomena in its entirety, viewing it as part of a dynamic reality, which is constantly changing, and a socio-historical process
