If astrong optical pulseis given as input to a single coreof two core fiber coupler under anomalousdispersion regime, then as the pulse in one coredecreases its amplitude; correspondingly the pulsein other core increases its amplitude. The powerexchange is possible only when the guides are madeof material with third order optical susceptibility. The non linear susceptibility givesrise to selftrapping of power in the original guide. Hence aftera coupling length the output power changes from0% to 100% in the original guide. %K Optical S oliton %K Split Step Fourier Transform (SSFM) %K Third order Dispersion %K Transmittance %K Coupling C oefficient. %U http://www.theaccents.org/ijacr/papers/conference/icacc2013/10.pdf
