%X Association Rule mining is one of the important andmostpopular data mining technique.Associationrule mining can be efficiently used in any decisionmakingprocessor decision based rule generation. Indata mining task in general we will find thefrequent patterns to know the effective patternsfrom the huge data. Then we find positive andnegative rules. If we observe the above phenomenathen we come to the point that the rule generation isalso huge. In this paper we survey several aspects ofoptimization techniques by which we can optimizethe association rules. So the main motivation of oursurvey is to minimize the rule generation oroptimize rule generation larger size of rules can beminimized.
