%X El presente art¨ªculo apunta a poner en entredicho la presunta afinidad de diagn¨®stico que, al decir de varios comentaristas (Roth, Drury, Ewald, Agamben, Castro) religar¨ªa las obras de Michel Foucault y Alexandre Koj¨¨ve, en torno a una serie de t¨®picos comunes como la actualidad post-revolucionaria, la muerte del hombre y el giro biopol¨ªtico de la pol¨ªtica moderna. La hip¨®tesis que intentamos sostener a lo largo del trabajo es que la divergencia en el nivel de las premisas (i.e. de la concepci¨®n de la temporalidad que subtiende los planteos de uno y otro autor), lleva a que la presunta cercan¨ªa entre ambos pensadores se restrinja a una coincidencia meramente verbal, en el nivel de los sintagmas, pero no de los conceptos. This paper discusses the supposed affinity of diagnosis that, according to several commentators (Roth, Drury, Ewald, Agamben, Castro), would re-tie the works of Michel Foucault and Alexandre Koj¨¨ve, concerning a series of common topics as the post-revolutionary present, the "death of man" and the biopolitical turn of modern politics. Our hypothesis is that the discrepancy in the premises (i.e. in the conception of temporality that subtends the reflection of one and another author) determines that the supposed nearness between both thinkers is restricted to a merely verbal coincidence, in the level of syntagms, but not of concepts.
