Hence, prefetching used with caching to improve the cache performance. Web caching and prefetching are the solution of many network problems like as access latency used by users and performance degradation due to heavy load on web. It helps in fetching the resources previously, which can be referenced by the user in the near future. It basically uses the concept of spatial locality of web objects. The data need to be stored, before the request comes for its access. For storage of such a prefetched data, web cache is used. For deciding the spatial locality of web objects, data is taken from proxy server. The paper proposes a framework for web traffic reduction. The approach first extracts data from proxy server web log, and then the extracted data is preprocessed.
