%X -FRAGMENT: It is satisfying to identify new challenges in the construction of scientific knowledge in such a complex diverse andinnovative field as the health sciences are.The science and art of managing health-disease processes, which continually interrogate the medical profession, in order to meet the needs and demands of our population. Medicine is closely linked to research, it is a reason enough to motivate the surging of opportunities for communication and information with a high level of certainty and scientific evidence, this is represented by scientific journals, such as: medical journal ※Luz y Vida§.The selection of scientific articles demonstrates the existence of an editorial committee with capacity and skills not only in research but also tools for evaluation. At the same time implementation of processes that require continuous monitoring and updating. It verifies this journal has formed a team with ability and potential of continuous improvement.The results will be seen in future editions.The integration of professionals with acknowledged career path in our context, and the impulse and motivation of undergraduate students are the main strength that will consolidate the high purposes stated in the first edition.-FRAGMENTO: Es satisfactorio identificar nuevos retos en la construcci車n de los conocimientos cient赤ficos en este campo tan complejo, diverso e innovador como son las ciencias de la salud.La ciencia y arte de manejar los procesos de salud-enfermedad, que de manera continua cuestiona a la profesi車n m谷dica, para satisfacer las necesidades y demandas de nuestra poblaci車n, est芍 estrechamente ligada a la investigaci車n, raz車n suficiente para motivar el surgimiento de espacios de comunicaci車n e informaci車n con elevado nivel de certidumbre y evidencia cient赤fica, representado por revistas cient赤ficas, tal es el caso de ※Luz y Vida§.La selecci車n de art赤culos cient赤ficos, sugiere la existencia de un comit谷 editor con capacidades y destrezas no solo enherramientas de investigaci車n sino tambi谷n de evaluaci車n, al mismo tiempo la implementaci車n de procesos que requierenpermanentemente seguimiento y actualizaci車n. Se verifica que esta revista cient赤fica ha conformado un equipo de trabajo con capacidad y potencialidad de mejora continua, los resultados se ver芍n en futuras ediciones.La integraci車n de profesionales con trayectoria reconocida en nuestro medio y el impulso y motivaci車n de estudiantes de pregrado son la principal fortaleza que permitir芍 consolidar los altos prop車sitos declarados en el primera edici車n.
